Michele Weitzenberg retired from a successful career in computer sales to pursue her passion for painting. She began painting with her mother, an accomplished artist, and was inspired by her love for watercolor. Michele continues to develop her skills by studying many well-known artists, including Judy Greenberg, Charles Reid, and Pamela Caughey.
Her paintings have been selected multiple times for the Sonoma County Harvest Fair posters.
Recently, Michele has shifted her focus to abstract oil paintings featuring vibrant and luminous colors aimed at capturing Sonoma County’s beauty. She works from her studio in West Santa Rosa, where the quiet lifestyle promotes her creative work.
Michele is married and has two children and four grandchildren. She holds a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
